Interviews with 10 Gen Z Triathletes

I have interviewed Gen Z triathletes on how we can help them stay in the sport. They have amazing insight on what's important to them, and why they want to come back.
Systems to Keep Them Coming Back

This presentation explores how to keep athletes coming back. It show cases programs like ambassador programs and advisor boards, as well as discount strategies and social hours to incorporate.
Sustainability as Retention

Gen Z values the environment and wants to know participating in your triathlon won't harm the earth. I will share my perspective and experience as a Sustainability Developer and triathlete in the space. Environmental stewardship is not a PR issue, it's a retention strategy. This isn't just greenwashing your experience, but showing Gen Z you notice and care for the places we all use.
The Playbook Checklist

At the end all the information will be organized in an easy to understand checklist to start your pilot of the strategies shared.
I'm a Gen Z athlete and want to help people stay here.
My name is Audrey Babbitt and I went to the Endurance Exchange. I learned that right now is a special moment to welcome Generation Z into the triathlon community. But how do we do it? How do we invite them to be a part of this community for the long haul?
Well, I am a part of this generation coming into the sport and I am staying. I have collected and translated Gen Z athlete insight into tools that help races and coaches build systems people want to stay in.
